Hocking Hills Hike

Whether you’ve been there many times before or whether this would be your first time, our hiking trip to Hocking Hills State Park is one that you won’t want to miss. At this park, God’s lovely creation takes on many forms: rock formations, waterfalls, recess caves, and more!
Join us for the 7am first Saturday Mass at St. Patrick’s on July 6th, or meet us in the St. Patrick’s parking lot at 7:45 for the carpool–and an early start to what is sure to be a grand day of adventure. Pack your own lunch and snacks and we can go out for dinner. The amount of time we spend at the park will be based on popular demand of the attendees, but I wouldn’t plan on getting back before evening! We hope you can join us as we explore and delight in the beautiful outdoors at Hocking Hills!

Volleyball Blitz and Cookout

If you have to miss out on our beach event or just can’t get enough sand between your toes, come join us at Scioto Audubon Metro Park for our summer cookout and sand volleyball blitz!  We’ll meet at the sand volleyball courts (just past the climbing wall — you can’t miss that thing!) at 12:00 pm.  Besides the picnic tables places to sit are limited  so bringing lawn chairs or picnic blankets is recommended.
If you want to show off your awesome cooking skills by bringing a side we won’t complain or choose from the list of sides to avoid duplication.  Either way is optional.
Please also bring/send $5 (cash/PayPal sarahsfrassatiwallet@gmail.com/Venmo @sarahsfrassatiwallet) to reimburse Eric F; he will be grilling burgers, hot dogs and corn on the cob.  Yum!

Beach Day at Alum Creek

Bring your Frisbee or beach ball and join us for a day at the beach! We’ll meet up by the shelter/changing area and set up our blankets at 1pm.  Contact Sarah if you have any trouble finding our group.

Christ in the City

Come for Eucharistic adoration, confessions, beautiful Taize chant and Dominican Compline (night prayer), followed by fellowship and drinks at Platform Beer Co.

Weekend Backpacking Trip
6:30am Saturday, July 27th to 5pm Sunday, July 28th
Twin Valley Metro Park

Join us for a weekend of backpacking at Twin Valley Metro Park.You don’t have to be an experienced backpacker; this will be fun and doable for all. We will be hiking 14-20 miles over the course of 2 days. The plan is to leave early Saturday morning and hiking 7 miles to our campsite; Sunday will be another 7 miles back to the cars (there will be extra trails if some desire to go little farther). This year, we also have a priest interested in joining us, so we are looking to have Sunday Mass on the trail!
Cost for the trip will be around $35 for food and gas. Additional cost may include any personal gear items for the trip. We will be providing a list of equipment needed and any extra gear that could go around (if willing to share, please let us know).
