40 Days for Life Peaceful Vigil

Frassati will be participating in the 40 Days for Life (40DFL) program this spring. 40DFL is a coordinated, national campaign to bring continuous prayer to local abortion clinics in more than 500 cities across the world. In Columbus, the program is sponsored by Greater Columbus Right to Life. Our group has adopted one hour, and we hope to see many of you there. Been stuck inside all winter? Want to get a little fresh air and stretch the legs? Come walk the trails of the Scioto Grove Metro Park on Sunday, March 31st. Frassati will meet at the Arrowhead Picnic Area @ 2pm and hike till around 4:30 or 5. Bring a water bottle and good hiking shoes and get ready to remedy the spring fever!

Joseph’s Coat is looking for help transporting furniture from donor homes to their warehouse and from the warehouse to families in need. They’ll provide the trucks (no cdl required), but they need the men of the Columbus Frassati Society to provide the muscle!
How to help: Meet up at Joseph’s Coat at 240 Outerbelt St. Columbus, OH, 43213, Dock door 5. Park in the long lot on your right just as you come into the back of the building. Walk to dock door 6, see yellow trucks, come in and Eileen, the furniture lead will be there to greet you.

Hello All,

We still have 2 events this month! Christ in the City is on Thursday, and we’re visiting the residents of Worthington Christian Village on Saturday.

October events start already on 10/1 with a prayer vigil outside Planned Parenthood as part of 40 Days for Life.  Please join us if you can!

We’ve had a great response already to the screening of Unprotected!  38 tickets have been reserved, but we need to get 40 more reserved so that its life-changing message can be presented!  The flyer is attached as well in case you have someplace to post it.

Join us at Worthington Christian Village (a local retirement community) to spend time with elderly residents!
Directions: 165 Highbluffs Blvd is off of US-23. When you turn into the facility just head back to the 7-story building. There is a volunteer sign in desk to your left as you enter where we can put on name badges. Please take the elevator to the sixth floor, and turn to your right when you get off.  The Activities Assistant will meet us there and let us know what all we will be doing.

Join us at DeSales HS for a favorite fall tradition: football!  We’ll watch rivals St. Francis DeSales and Bishop Hartley in what should be an exciting game (last year the teams were two points apart)!  Wear red or purple depending on which team you’re rooting for, but let’s sit together regardless!  We’ll meet up at the stadium entrance at 6:45 to find seats together before the game starts at 7.

A special one-night screening of a new, Catholic documentary is coming to Columbus!  Unprotected is Don Johnson’s new film about Humanae Vitae, the devastating effects of the sexual revolution, and the counter-cultural movement that is rising from its ashes. Featuring stories and commentary by Christopher West, Jennifer Fulwiler, Janet Smith, Damon Owens, Jason and Crystalina Evert, Sue Ellen Browder, Patrick Coffin, Jennifer Roback Morse, Carrie Gress, Leila Miller, Benjamin Wiker, and Donald Asci.
Please invite friends and family (teens and older should find the film meaningful and appropriate), and please reserve your tickets before October 11th so our showing doesn’t get canceled. If it does end up getting canceled, your card won’t be charged by Tugg.
