Last year’s evening paddle was such a success; we have decided to do it again! We have booked our third evening private canoe and kayak trip at Trapper John’s in Grove City.
Meet up at the livery at 7pm to register and pay ($20 cash) before Trapper John’s staff takes our group upstream where we’ll embark on our canoe trip by 7:30pm. Please let us know if you have any questions or if you would like to carpool. We’ll be off the river around sunset (9pm).
We are also looking for a rough expected headcount before the trip to help Trapper John with staffing planning, so please let us know here if you can make it. Of course, we’d love to have you along even without an rsvp, and please invite friends!

This is an event we look forward to every year! The Greater Columbus Right to life is hosting a free dinner at Villa Milano at 6pm on Monday, June 10th.This year, the pro-life doctor, Dr. William Lile will deliver the keynote. In 1999, Dr. William Lile and a partner bought out the practice of the largest provider of abortion services in Pensacola, Florida. Along with putting an immediate stop to abortion procedures and referrals at the clinic, Lile and his partner included a clause in the contract: the man who at one time had led the area in abortions had to agree to leave the region if he wanted to keep trafficking in abortion.Don’t wait to sign up!

Join us for a weekend of backpacking at Twin Valley Metro Park. You don’t have to be an experienced backpacker; this will be fun and doable for all. We will be hiking 14-20 miles over the course of 2 days. The plan is to leave early Saturday morning and hiking 7 miles to our campsite; Sunday will be another 7 miles back to the cars (there will be extra trails if some desire to go little farther). This year, we also have a priest interested in joining us, so we are looking to have Sunday Mass on the trail!
Cost for the trip will be around $35 for food and gas. Additional cost may include any personal gear items for the trip. We will be providing a list of equipment needed and any extra gear that could go around (if willing to share, please let us know).
