March Newsletter

Our March events follow our usual schedule with some changes in the format of our 1st and 3rd Thursday events. We will be replacing our book discussion with a speaker series followed by compline and food and merriment at a local restaurant. Guaranteed no reading necessary. 🙂

Sunday, March 1: All day is the “Supercharge Your Soul Sunday” retreat for young adults in Cincinnati. Click here for more information.

Sunday, March 8: We will be serving meals to the homeless at Faith Mission, which is right across the street from St. Patrick Church. Meet at the church library at 11:10 AM and we will walk over from there. You can leave whenever you need to, but we should wrap up by 1:30 PM.

Thursday, March 12: At 7 PM, Professor Robert George of Princeton will be speaking at the Jessing Center of the Josephinum on Religious Liberty and the Common Good. We will grab a bite to meet locally after. More information here.

Thursday, March 19: At 5 PM, there will be a special Mass in honor of the feast of St. Joseph, the provincial patron, at St. Patrick’s. Join us afterwards for a talk by Peter Totleben, O.P. on the role of mystery in a practical Catholic life. Afterwards, we will pray compline and have dinner at Flat Iron (129 E Nationwide Blvd).

Sunday, March 22: Brunch after the noon Mass at St. Patrick’s. Meet ten minutes after Mass at the St. Therese statue in the nave (behind the double doors in the back center of the church proper)..if you go to a different Mass and miss us, we will be at Cap City Diner 1299 Olentangy River Rd, Grandview Heights.

Thursday, March 26: At 7 PM in the church, we will join the ADORE event (Adoration with confessions) at St. Patrick’s (more information here) and follow with dinner at Max and Erma’s (the one next to Flat Iron on 129 E Nationwide Blvd) afterwards.

Saturday, March 28: No hike this month; join us at Dawes Arboretum next month!

We are excited about our new event format, and we hope to see you there! In the meantime, don’t forget to sign up for our email list (link on the right sidebar) and “like” us on Facebook!

Until we see you again,

God bless,
