We have three important events coming up still this month!

Fr. Charles is saying Mass for us on Monday at 7pm.  Please come if you can (and sit in the first several pews) since we aren’t ready to bring back Mass and a Meal on a monthly basis yet.

Our most widely attended event, Christ in the City is on Thursday!

Finally, we’re volunteering at Worthington Christian Village on Saturday.  The residents there can confirm that we’ll never be too old to enjoy a good cheesecake and summer lawn games!

 

Mass and a Meal

7pm Monday, May 21st.

Join us at 7pm for Mass celebrated by Fr. Charles followed by pizza for all!  Please bring $5 to reimburse the core team for dinner and let us know if you’d like to bring a drink or dessert to share.

 

Christ in the City

7pm Thursday, May 24th

Come for Eucharistic adoration, confessions, beautiful Taize chant and Dominican Compline (night prayer), followed by fellowship and drinks at Claddagh Irish Pub.

 

Service Event: Cheesecake and Summer Games at WCV

2pm/3:30pm Saturday, May 26th

Worthington Christian Village (165 Highbluffs Blvd., Columbus, OH 43235)

Join us at Worthington Christian Village (a local retirement community) for cheesecake and/or summer games! The cheesecake party begins at 2pm at the Assisted Living area and summer games begin at 3:30pm at the Healthcare Center.  Come for either or both!  We’ll play bean bag toss and potentially toss water balloons, so come ready to have fun while serving our aging neighbors.

Directions for Cheesecake party: 165 Highbluffs Blvd is off of US-23.  When you turn into the facility just head back to the 7-story building.  There is a volunteer sign in desk to your left as you enter where we can put on name badges.  Please take the elevator to the sixth floor and when you get off the elevator turn to your right.  Adrienne, the Activities Assistant will meet us there and let us know what all we will be doing.
