Friday, December 1st: St. Patrick’s Parish Scripture Study
7pm in Aquinas Hall
I am pleased to announce that we will be beginning a new St. Patrick’s Parish Scripture Study on Friday, December 1st, in Aquinas Hall. All are most welcome and are encouraged to invite a friend.
We will be following Scott Hahn’s course, The Bible and the Sacraments: A Journey Through Scripture, but we will be beginning with a 3-part intro on where the Catholic bible came from and how to read and interpret scripture according to the principles given to us by the Church Fathers and the Church’s Magisterium.
Future meetings will be held on the first Thursday of every month.
Refreshments will be served.
Friday, December 8th Dinner after 6:30pm Mass (Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception):
We’ll attend Mass at St. Patrick before gathering at Acre in Clintonville (2700 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43202) for dinner. Meet up outside the church entrance on Grant Ave. before we drive over, or catch up with us at the restaurant. Saturday, December 16th: Columbus Relief Service
I would like to invite you all to consider joining us in the Columbus Relief Service Project. You can read all about it here:
If you find this inspiring, and you’d like to volunteer with us, some of us will be meeting at Holy Family Soup Kitchen (http://hfsk.org/) on Saturday, December 16th, from 11:00am to 12:00pm at least. But if you’d like to volunteer with us, you need to register beforehand on the above Columbus Relief website sometime beforehand.
You are also most welcome to attend the entire event. Here is the full schedule:

We’ll head over to Fox in the Snow Cafe after the noon Mass at St. Patrick. Thursday, December 21st: Christ in the City:
Come adore Our Lord, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation , be uplifted by beautiful Taize chant sung by our choir, and join us for Dominican night prayer. Refreshments at Claddagh Irish Pub to follow.
Saturday, January 6th Save the Date for Game Night:
You’re invited to join us at 7pm at the Chatham Village Condo party house (in the building between 966 and 984 Chatham Lane, Columbus, OH 43221) for a game night! Feel free to bring a favorite game, snack or drink to share, and invite a friend! Hope to see you there!
