Thursday, February 9th: Theology on Tap: 7pm at El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant

We will be joining Columbus Theology on Tap for the next ToT talk at El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant, 3230 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus OH 43202.  I, Fr. Jerome Zeiler, OP, will be giving the talk this month.  It will entitled, “How to Get out of a Spiritual Slump.”  Very useful info!  Please see the Columbus Theology on Tap facebook page for more details.

Thursday, February 16th : Talk by  at 7pm in Aquinas Hall at St. Pat’s

The title of the next talk will be “The History, Practice and Spirituality of the Liturgy of the Hours.”  Michael Murphy, a member of the Lay Fraternity of St. Dominic, will be giving the talk.  This would be a great time to discover one way in which so many  members of the laity have benefited so greatly from participating in the Liturgy of the Hours, the prayer of the Church finding its first origins in the Acts of the Apostles.  The Q&A session afterwards would also be a great time to ask Michael questions about the Lay Fraternity of St. Dominic.  It made a blessed (soon to be a saint) out of Pier Giorgio Frassati after all…  Maybe God is calling you too!

Thursday, February 23rd: Christ in the City: 7pm in the main church at St. Pat’s

Come adore Our Lord, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, be uplifted by beautiful Taize chant sung by our choir, join us for Dominican night prayer, and then join us for refreshments and fellowship at a local pub.
