Thursday, January 5th: Catholic Conversations: 7pm in Aquinas Hall at St. Pat’s

Join us as we begin a new book, “I Believe in Love: A Personal Retreat Based on the Teaching of St. Therese of Lisieux,” by Fr. Jean D’Elbee.  “This spiritual classic has long been beloved by Catholics for its wondrous distillation of the teaching of St. Therese of Lisieux into a reader-friendly set of meditations.  I Believe in Love has helped countless souls embark on the way to the Father.  It will help you focus on Him throughout each day, rest in Him amid your troubles, and live joyfully with Him at every moment.”  You do not need to read the material beforehand.  Fr. Jerome will present a casual “cliff-notes” version of the book, but attendees may interject with their own comments or questions at any time.  5 copies will be available for purchase for $15.

Thursday, January 19th : Talk by Fr. Jerome at 7pm in Aquinas Hall at St. Pat’s

The title of the next talk will be “What is Marian Consecration?”  Fr. Jerome will share reflections on the nature of Marian Consecration as understood by St. Louis De Montfort and St. Maximilian Kolbe.  He will also share personal stories about how being consecrated to Mary changed his own life.  The talk will most likely be followed by an extended Q&A session (as many people have a lot of questions about the true nature of Marian Consecration).  All of your questions will be answered!

Thursday, January 26th: Christ in the City: 7pm in the main church at St. Pat’s

Come adore Our Lord, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, be inspired by beautiful Taize chant sung by our choir, and join us for Compline, followed by refreshments and fellowship at Claddagh Irish Pub.
