Service Event: Donation Sorting at Star House10am-12pm Saturday, December 10thStar House (1220 Corrugated Way, Columbus, OH 43201)Here’s a behind-the-scenes opportunity to serve homeless youth. Star House is a social service agency that operates Central Ohio’s only drop-in center for youth, ages 14-24, who are experiencing homelessness—and the only drop-in center in the nation that hosts continuous, best practice research.
We will volunteer by sorting and organizing clothing, shoes and other items.
For safety and comfort, we recommend that you:
– Wear closed-toe shoes
– Wear weather-appropriate clothing (preferably in layers) as the warehouse environment can sometimes be unpredictably hot or cold
– Bring water to drink
