September Schedule (so far)
Frassatis, please see our September schedule! We are hoping to add a community outreach event later in the month, so stay tuned. Please do join us for the events we have planned so far.
Thursday, September 11: We’ll be meeting at 7:00 pm in the St. Pat’s Library to start our discussion of Knowing the Love of Christ: An Introduction to the Theology of St. Thomas Aquinas by Michael Dauphinais and Matthew Levering. This book is a great introduction to the influential and useful theology of St. Thomas Aquinas that is in a format accessible to even the earliest beginners in theology…so don’t be shy! You do not need to purchase or have read the book beforehand. We’ll pray Compline and hang out for a little while afterwards.
Saturday, September 13: We’ll be hiking (about 5.5 miles) at Alum Creek State Park, then hanging out for BBQ and fellowship. We’re meeting in the St. Patrick’s parking lot at 8:30 am and driving together, leaving at 9:00 am.
If you plan on coming, RSVP via Facebook [event link]. And let us know if you’re willing to drive.
Alternatively, meet us at the park at boat ramp at Africa Rd. and Lewis Center Rd. at 9:30-9:45.
If you just want to come for the BBQ, meet at the same boat ramp at 12:30 pm. We will be there as long as we like.
PLEASE bring warm layers, hiking shoes, a snack, water, and $5 cash to pay for the BBQ after.
We can’t wait to see you there! Come when you can, leave when you must.
