This Saturday, November 9th, we will go on a hike to Dawes Arboretum near Newark, Ohio. Dawes Arboretum was founded in the 1920s by an Ohio family, and it includes: different woodlands, a Cypress bog, a Japanese garden, and several war memorials.
People can meet at St. Patrick’s at 9:00am, or they can meet at Dawes at 9:45am. The hike will end around 2:00pm.
What to bring: bagged lunch, water and a rosary.
Address to the Arboretum: 7770 Jacksontown Rd. SE Newark, Ohio 43056. There are a couple of entrances, so we will park and meet at the Visitors Center.
