Join us as we team up with Theology on Tap for a talk by our very own Fr. Michael Dosch, OP, pastor of St. Patrick Parish, as he speaks on one of his favorite topics: “The Catholic Imagination of J. R. R. Tolkien.”  The venue will be El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant, 3230 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43202.

Thursday, October 20th : “How to Get the Most out of the Mass”: 7pm in Aquinas Hall

Let’s be honest.  For most of us, our first experience of mass is that of something largely unintelligible, largely boring, and largely irrelevant to the rest of our lives.  But as we grow in our Catholic faith, things begin to change…  There is an ocean of grace available at every mass.  But as St. Thomas says, “everything is received according to the mode of the recipient.”  We can drink like a guppy, or we can drink like a whale from this ocean.  How do we progress from drinking like a guppy to drinking like a whale?  This talk will be given by Fr. Jerome Zeiler, OP, at 7pm in Aquinas Hall at St. Patrick Parish Center.  All are welcome.

Thursday, October 27th: Christ in the City: 7pm in main church at St. Pat’s

Adore Our Lord, come to confession, and be inspired by beautiful Taize chant sung by our choir. Then join us for night prayer followed by refreshments at Claddagh Irish Pub.
