Service Event: Donation Sorting at Star House

Here’s a behind-the-scenes opportunity to serve homeless youth. Star House is a social service agency that operates Central Ohio’s only drop-in center for youth, ages 14-24, who are experiencing homelessness—and the only drop-in center in the nation that hosts continuous, best practice research.
We will volunteer by sorting and organizing clothing, shoes and other items.
For safety and comfort, we recommend that you:
– Wear closed-toe shoes
– Wear weather-appropriate clothing (preferably in layers) as the warehouse environment can sometimes be unpredictably hot or cold
– Bring water to drink

Please join us for the next meeting of Seat of Wisdom We have several seats remaining on a first come, first served basis — please contact Matt at the email below to claim one. Seat 

is a concept first developed by Catholic young adults in Seattle that aims to gather a small group for a structured discussion on a topic from the world of Catholic arts and letters. Discussions are around two hours long. We have already gathered questions, so all you need to bring is yourself. We will end the night with compline. Please RSVP to columbusfrassatisociety@gmail.com and we will provide you with the address for the discussion.
